Biography

Nick Naclerio has served as a member of our board of directors since May 2020. He is the founding partner of Illumina Ventures. Prior to joining the fund, he served as SVP, Corporate & Venture Development at Illumina. Earlier in his career, Nick co-founded Quanterix where he served as executive chair. He also was executive chairman of True Materials and chief executive officer of ParAllele BioScience, life science tools firms that were both acquired by Affymetrix. Nick holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park.
